She remembers as a little girl when her grandfather tried to convince her that chewing dried tar was just as good as gum. It only took one try to discover that he was wrong. Suzanne started working for Kirkey Roofing in 2000 when her father, Dennis Kirkey, had taken over running the business after Ben retired.
